Backyard Wedding | Kansas City

Set against the lush backdrop of a 33-acre estate where Victoria grew up, the wedding of Victoria and Carter was nothing short of a fairy tale. The outdoor garden party, infused with the essence of chic simplicity and deep-rooted family heritage, was meticulously planned down to the last detail. Victoria was the epitome of elegance in her simple yet stunning wedding dress complemented by a classic European veil. For the reception, she changed into a remade version of her late mother’s wedding dress, adding a touch of sentimental value to her attire. Her long, naturally wavy hair cascaded down her shoulders, adorned with family heirloom jewelry including gold rings and a delicate necklace, enhancing her carefree yet intentional bridal look. The bridal bouquet was a tasteful mix of white florals, contrasting beautifully against the black dresses of the bridesmaids. The ceremony aisle, set outdoors, was flanked by white chairs and tall grass handpicked from around the property, leading to a beautifully crafted arch decorated with hanging flowers by her father. Following the heartfelt exchange of vows, guests moved to a tented reception area where elegance continued to reign. A stunning antique mirror, repurposed as a seating chart, greeted the guests. The decor featured a harmonious blend of long and round tables covered in white tablecloths, accented with lemons, grapes, pears, taper candles, and floral centerpieces that mirrored the bouquet. The place settings were marked by neutral napkins atop pristine white dinnerware and gold flatware, with white candles in crystal holders and string lights overhead adding a soft glow to the evening. Cozy couches and seating areas, illuminated by overhead lanterns, provided a comfortable space for guests to relax and celebrate, making Victoria and Carter’s wedding a perfect blend of tradition, elegance, and personal touch.
