An Elegant Midsummer Wedding at Ashton Hill Farms

I love blogging, its a little reminder of how lucky I am to work with so many incredible humans. I consistently get to work with the most laid back and genuinely kind and fun people! Anna and Anders were just like that, from the moment I met them I was in love with who they were. The brought me in from Kansas City to Galena Illinois and didn’t give any direction because they loved my work and wanted me to just do my thing, only ever offering gratitude and smiles in return. Anna’s vision for this wedding was a dream. From their amazing vendor team, to their easy going personalities. They got married at Ashton Hill Farm a STUNNING wedding venue in the countryside of Galena. It was modern and chic, it had great light and a beautiful ceremony space. Anna’s vision brought the space to life and I'm sure the photos will leave you with massive heart eyes.

The day of the wedding was so dang relaxed. Then we dove into the couples first look that was so sweet and so emotional that I had tears in my eyes. We shot their wedding party and most of their couples portraits before the ceremony so afterwords all we had to do was knock out family photos and a few more couples portraits so they could be done with photos and spend time with their loved ones. Even though we did sneak out for a few sunset portraits!
