We first chose Emma based off her work portfolio! They have always been beautiful, rad, and full of personality type photos. She shot our engagement session and we fell in LOVE with the photos. They were just US. She makes you feel natural while shooting, all the while directing you exactly where she wants you. Direction is my opinion is key because, like, I'm awkward okay, and I want someone to tell me exactly where everything needs to be! Pose me but don't make it look posed haha! And she nails it every time. Our wedding and reception had so many changes due to the world of 2020. Emma adapted and gave her assistance in any part of it that she could. The day of our wedding in California, her and her husband Caleb, were ROCKSTARS. Emma felt like not only our photographer but also our wedding coordinator! She was key to the day succeeding and she was down for everything. She always gave her professional opinion to ensure we got the most out of the scenery and day. Caleb, her husband not only assisted Emma like a dream, he made our client experience that day 10/10. He ensured we had our favorite tunes blasted while taking pictures to make the whole experience of our wedding day that much better. He encouraged booze when it was WELL needed for the stressed brides we were. And he ensured Emma had everything she needed to kill it on her end. They are a solid partnership that we loved having with us the whole day and evening. Our photos turned out INSANE. Like wildly beautiful and more than we could of ever imagined. She made us feel like a million bucks that day, and I don't think anyone else could of captured who we are and our connection more than Emma. We have had strangers tell us they have come across our wedding pictures from Instagram, and how amazed at the pictures they are. They are truly a dream and we will cherish them until the end of time. Emma also created our wedding album. It captures everything about our day perfectly. The custom cover illustration is a VIBE. And the exact vibe that flowed through the whole wedding day and our love story. It could make me tear up every time I think about that wedding album living on for years beyond my wife and I....and the story it will tell to those looking at it! The experience, photos, and wedding album are truly something we will hold so close forever! Emma get its.
