An Elopement in the Scottish Highlands

I had never seen the show Outlander until I started posting photos from this Scotland elopement I shot in the Scottish Highlands just outside of Fort William. Now after seeing some episodes I can’t unsee it! It was totally unintentional, but I love that old Braveheart / vintage love vibe so much!

Scotland Wedding

I had so much stress the night before this shoot that I barely slept. I just wanted to make sure that everything turned out perfect with the lighting, and also the terrain around the highlands can be a little intense, not to mention the midges are always there to eat people alive (midges are like super tiny mosquitos that are native to the highlands). Despite all of the challenges I was so stoked on how the Scotland Wedding turned out! Everything was beautiful and I shot some of my favorite Scotland Wedding photography I had ever shot. After this Scotland elopement I am praying that in some way I can manifest more weddings or elopements in Scotland.
